Las Vegas, Nevada (March 3, 2026) – The 2026 WSOP Circuit rolled into Baltimore with high stakes and fierce competition, and at the end of it all, Los Angeles-based newcomer Christopher “Eric” Selami emerged as the Main Event champion.
A total of 413 entrants battled in the $1,700 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Horseshoe Baltimore WSOP Circuit Main Event, the highlight of an 18-event series in Maryland. Selami navigated the field with precision to secure his first WSOP Circuit ring and a career-defining top prize of $128,100.
Before this breakthrough, Selami’s largest tournament cash was just shy of $8,000, according to The Hendon Mob. The victory represents a dramatic leap in his poker career, vaulting him into six-figure territory and announcing his arrival on the WSOP Circuit stage.
Following his win, Selami told Poker.Org live reporter Jeremy Guist that his focus is firmly on pursuing more rings. “It’s going straight to the bankroll,” he said. “I’ve been pretty much underbankrolled for these tournaments, so this is just more entries to come. Tomorrow I’d be at another stop if I could. I’m ring chasing.”
